The comment bot's primary function is traffic. But its secondary function is lead capture. The bot is configured to auto-reply to specific trigger phrases with product links, turning curious commenters into paying customers.
Trigger Phrase Replies
When someone comments "what is it?" or "link?" or "where can I find this?", the bot detects these phrases and replies automatically with a relevant product link or channel link. These are warm leads -- people who already expressed interest. Conversion rates on trigger replies are significantly higher than on cold exposure.
Account Safety
The bot uses spun language -- slight variations on each comment -- to avoid appearing robotic to YouTube's spam detection. Each account is limited to 18 comments per day, well under the threshold that triggers automated suspicion. Comment targets are rotated across videos to avoid pattern detection. These safeguards are built into comment_bot.py and require no manual configuration after initial setup.
